Invictus Gaming v Oh My God

Map handicap: Invictus Gaming -1.5 (1.45)

Even though Invictus Gaming have been a bit hot and cold this season (with three wins and three losses in six matches), there is just too much quality and depth in their roster, at least when compared to a lacklustre Oh My God team. Oh My God are currently 16th in the LPL with no wins in five matches. In 12 maps, they have won just two, an indicator of the lack of firepower in the lanes of Summoner’s Rift. Invictus Gaming are coming off a loss, and will be desperate to return to winning ways with a statement win against a struggling team.

Personnel

Wink and Rookie have made for a solid bot-mid laner partnership for Invictus. Wink is averaging 3.92 kills while Rookie has put up 3 kills per map. Wink even has a KDA of 6 built on a lower death rate of just 1.62. However, from an offensive standpoint, Xun has been the standout performer for Invictus, adding a spectacular 5 kills with 6 assists per map in spring so far.

FunPlus Phoenix v LNG Esports

Correct score (in maps): FunPlus Phoenix to win 2-1 (3.10)

FunPlus Phoenix have been consistent for the last three splits, including this spring season. They are currently second in the LPL with a 5-1 season record. They have also won their last four matches. However, LNG Esports are not a team to be under-estimated. They have won four of five series so far, including their last two matches. Just looking at both rosters, it seems like FunPlus Phoenix have more offensive depth in the lanes, particularly through the middle and bottom lanes. I’d say LNG Esports will win either the first or second map, but lose the decisive third map.

Personnel

Lwx has been outstanding right through spring, averaging a stunning 6.15 kills per game behind only Top Esports’ JackeyLove. He has been one of the most influential reasons for FunPlus’ lane dominance near the neutral objectives in team fights. Doinb has been a bit under-par in terms of kills (2.46 per game) but has compensated for that with 8.15 assists per game with an impressive KDA of 5.11.
