The LCK resumes on Thursday with a few more games, including second-placed Gen.G in action. Here are some predictions to consider for your Picklebet bet slip from Thursday’s games.
Total maps: Over 2.5 (2.02)
Hanwha Life Esports have started the new spring split with aplomb, winning five of their first eight matches. That’s why they are understandably favourites in this game at odds of 1.38 on Picklebet. Nongshim RedForce have shown a lot of promise but haven’t been able to convert that into wins. They have won only three of their first eight matches, which has positioned them eighth in the LCK table. To be honest, there is still uncertainty in predicting the match winner. That is the perfect situation to back a match to go to three maps. Both teams should be able to counteract each other in the lanes.
Deokdam has been the most influential offensive weapon for Nongshim this season. He has helped generate 4.16 kills along with 2.07 deaths. He also has the best KDA in his team (3.23), followed by Peanut’s KDA of 3.22, which has been built on 2.11 kills and 4.84 assists per game. For Hanwha, three players have averaged over three kills per game – Chovy, Deft and Arthur, which has improved their overall productivity in the lanes.
Gen.G Esports (1.20)
Gen.G have repeatedly proved themselves as one of the most consistent teams in the LCK. They are second in this spring split after winning five of their first eight matches. In terms of maps, they have won 13 of 20 so far. This level of confidence and momentum to add to their overall depth, particularly in the lanes, should be far too much for a team that does not match up well with them. Afreeca Freecs have been inconsistent again, winning only three of eight matches to date. A powerful Gen.G team is good enough for almost any team in the world. This game against Afreeca Freecs should be a routine win for Gen.G.
As expected, bot laner Ruler has led the kill production for Gen.G, providing 3.7 kills and 4.3 assists per game. He also has the best KDA in Gen.G (5.23). Bdd has been solid in the middle lane, producing 3.06 kills and 5.88 assists per game, at a KDA of 5.07. Rascal and Clid have both chipped in with a high level of offensive production as well (2.95 and 3.53 kills respectively).
