GODSENT have confirmed the signing of a Brazilian roster featuring the likes of felps and TACO
The Swedish organisation GODSENT have announced the acquisition of a new team featuring the likes of Epitacio “TACO” de Melo and João “felps” Vasconcellos. The team also includes three young players who have made a name for themselves in Brazil, namely Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer, Bruno “b4rtiN” Câmara and Bruno “latto” Rebelatto.
The organisation confirmed that four buy-outs were required to assemble the roster and that all players have been signed to contracts spanning at least three years. TACO will be the in-game leader for the squad, and the team will play without a dedicated AWPer.
Managing the team is Ricardo “dead” Sinigaglia, who made a name for himself as the coach for teams like MiBR, SK Gaming and Luminosity. He will be joined by coach Olavo “chucky” Napoleão, who is perhaps most known for his time with North American based TeamOne.
Henrik Denebrandt and Ludwig Sandgren, CEO:s of GODSENT, expressed their excitement about the new roster in a statement on the team’s website.
“We are very much honored and excited for this new project and for everything it will bring to our organisation. We are very confident that we will do epic things together in the coming years. We want to thank Dead, Taco and the team for their passion and for bringing this about.”
GODSENT are expected to make their debut in late January and will do so with the following roster:
