We take a look at the two semi-final matchups in IEM Beijing, including a star-studded matchup between Complexity and Vitality.
Vitality Map 2 (1.70)
Vitality continue to be consistent force that they have been for most of the year. Making deep runs in playoffs have almost become the norm for these guys. On the other side, we have Complexity, who took down BIG and NaVi to make it to the the semis. These teams have been even historically, with both teams taking three series apiece. It is interesting to note that Vitality have never lost Dust2 against Complexity, and have gone on to win the series each time they have done so. This series really is up in the air, but I would slightly edge in favour of Vitality and especially on their map choice.
Chaos Map 1 +4.5 (1.68)
We have seen some big time upsets in North America recently, so it honestly would not surprise me in the slightest if Chaos were to make this semi-final matchup with Evil Geniuses competitive. Evil Geniuses won against Chaos 2-0 the last time they met, but Chaos came close to beating them on Nuke (16-14). They have taken down names like FURIA, Liquid and 100 Thieves on these maps before, so I would give them an outside shot at the upset.
