There is plenty of League of Legends action on Thursday, including the LPL playoffs and the EU Masters. We take a look at some picks to consider for your slip from Thursday’s LoL.
Royal Never Give Up (1.89)
Royal Never Give Up had quite a solid season, finishing 8-8 with a 20-18 maps record (a win rate of 53%). There is no reason they can’t put another solid performance in against Edward Gaming, who finished just ahead of them. This will be a tight matchup, potentially requiring a fifth map to decide the winner. The odds and form are compelling enough to back Royal Never Give Up.
Royal Never Give Up have needed just five players right through this split, an indicator of the consistency of their starting five. Betty has been their star, averaging 4.13 kills with just 1.74 deaths this season. He has had strong support from Xiaohu and LangX.
BT Excel (2.26)
BT Excel were terrific in the UKLC spring edition earlier in the year. In 21 games, they won 18 of them including the playoffs. That will leave them with plenty of confidence and momentum for the opening exchanges of the EU Masters. They have been well led offensively by Deadly, who has been averaging 5.62 kills, 1.95 deaths and 6.24 assists. He even has a CSPM of 10.01 and 482 GPM.
Team Gamerlegion (1.33)
Gamerlegion were forced to qualify for the main event by putting on a strong performance in the play-in event of the EU Masters. They’ve come through relatively unscathed, which will leave them in good spirits. Hjarnan and Nite are their offensive weapons, racking up 4.25 kills and 3.97 kills respectively. They will be required against YDN Gamers.
Fnatic Rising (1.14)
These odds might not be compelling enough to pick Fnatic Rising as a single. Therefore, it might make sense to add them in a multi-bet accumulator, potentially with Gamerlegion too. Fnatic Rising will be a force in this edition of the EU Masters with a much-improved squad, led by ADC xMatty. They should find no trouble in putting away the Energypot Wizards in this either.
