Here is a breakdown of some prop bets to consider on Picklebet for Wednesday’s action from the League of Legends Pro League.
Total maps: Over 2.5 (2.32)
Rare Atom have enjoyed a very good season so far. So much so that they have won 8 of 11 matches this split, which currently puts them at 5th on the LPL standings. They are on a seven-match winning streak, which is why they are such compelling favourites in this game. However, Victory Five have improved significantly after a sub-par spring split of 2020. They are 12th on the LPL standings with a 5-7 record. They started well but are now on a three-game losing streak. Still, I’d back them to win at least one map in this match. Also, the law of averages might come into play here.
V5 have relied upon two of their star players – Weiwei and Mole – for offensive firepower. Mole has managed 3 kills per game while Weiwei has chipped in with 3.14 kills a map. One of the problems has been V5 overextending in the lanes and in team fights. That also comes with its advantages, such as being able to collect a dragon or a baron that could help win a map.
Map handicap: Suning Gaming -1.5 (1.34)
Suning Gaming have finally found their momentum after a terrific end to 2020 that saw them become the runners-up of the World Championships. They have now won three matches on the bounce in the LPL to improve to 6-5 (currently 8th on the LPL standings). Rogue Warriors have no confidence or rhythm whatsoever. That is not unsurprising considering they have won just 1 of 12 matches in spring to date, and are languishing at the bottom of the LPL table.
Huanfeng has been in sensational offensive form this season. He has averaged 4.96 kills per game with just 1.3 deaths, giving him a stellar KDA of 7.23. He has been ably supported by Angel and Bin, who have put up a combined kill rate of close to six per map. This level of offensive output will be hard to match for a struggling Rogue Warriors team.
