The LEC resumes this Friday with five more games. We pick out two that you could consider for your Picklebet action this weekend.
Mad Lions (1.55)
In the summer split of 2020, Mad Lions proved they belong at this level with repeated displays of spectacular plays, particularly from an offensive standpoint. Currently, Mad Lions have a 5-4 season record, and are coming into this match on the back of a win. That will hold them in good stead after a sluggish start to spring. Even in the lanes, there is just too much firepower against a team that can occasionally be passive. I’d back that offense to come good in this game.
Armut has been Mad Lions’ most proficient killing weapon this season (he is averaging 4.22 kills and 4.11 assists per game). Elyoya has helped Armut out by being consistent across the board. Elyoya has the best KDA in Mad Lions (4.45), with 3.44 kills, 2.22 deaths and 6.44 assists per map. These two will be hard to stop for Excel again.
After starting the season with confidence, Rogue has fallen away a tad. They now have a 7-2 record after beginning with five straight wins. They even lost the previous game, which might impact their momentum. However, they have proved their class and skill with exceptional lane dominance this season. They are now second on the LEC table. Misfits, on the other hand, don’t match up well with Rogue. Even from a form perspective, Misfits are struggling with a 3-6 record in spring to date.
Hans Sama has been the player of the LEC so far. He is leading the league in kills, averaging a staggering 6.56 kills per game. With a death rate of just 1.78, he has increased his KDA to 1.78. He is even leading his team in creep score (338). Not far behind him is Larssen, who has also had an outstanding season. He has a team-leading KDA of 8.9, built on just 1.11 deaths per map.
