The LCK continues on Thursday after a long weekly break. Here is a look at two predictions for your betting slip on Picklebet from Thursday’s games.
DWG Kia (1.26)
DWG Kia are one of the best teams in the world. They are reigning world champions as well. They haven’t quite found their best form or fluency in this summer season, though. However, that’s also where the opportunity lies because their odds have increased a bit as a result. They are currently fourth in the LCK standings with a 9-6 record. In terms of maps, they have won 23 of 37, which puts them at a win percentage of 62%. Brion Esports, on paper, are no match for DWG Kia. They are now eighth in the LCK with a 5-10 match record. They have won just 18 maps so far out of 40. The gulf in quality and skill is stark.
Khan and ShowMaker have been in exceptional form for DWG Kia so far. They have put up 3.03 and 3.59 kills per game respectively in summer. Ghost has been decent as well, with 3.15 kills along with 6 assists a map. These three have managed the lanes expertly well but they might need a little more defensive strength in order to stave off Brion without hassle, which seems fairly plausible at this stage.
Sandbox Gaming (1.66)
Sandbox Gaming have been in fine form this season. They have now won four straight matches to move up to third on the LCK table. They are now 9-5 for the season, with a 21-16 maps record. That is indicative of the depth of their resources this season. Hanwha Life Esports have competed and challenged but haven’t been able to translate that into results. In fact, they are now seventh on the LCK table with a 6-9 record. These results suggest that Sandbox Gaming have the advantage in this fixture.
Prince has led the production for Sandbox Gaming, with 3.54 kills per game along with 4.11 assists. He has kept his death rate low, which is exceptional considering his offensive output. However, Sandbox Gaming will need a lot more if they are to challenge the might of the rest of the LCK come the playoffs.
