One Game Agency returns with a Season 4 of Dota Pit China. Some of the best teams in China will have a 10 day fight for the impressive $150,000 prize pool.

Season 4 Information

OGA Dota Pit China Season 4 will be played from December 3rd to December 12th. It will feature 8 best teams from the China region at the moment. Online tournament will feature a big $150,000 prize pool, which compared to the previous season is an increase of $60,000 in prize money.

Eight teams are directly invited to the tournament. Group stage will be played from December 3rd to December 6th and it will feature 2 groups of four teams. Group stage matches will be standard best of 3 matches and single round robin. The 1st team in each group will advance on to the upper bracket round 2, while 2nd and 3rd placed teams will advance to the upper bracket round 1 of the tournament. Sadly, one bottom team in each group will be eliminated from the tournament. Playoffs will be held from December 7th to December 12th when the best of 5 grand finals will take place. Playoffs will be now standard double elimination bracket with best of 3 match series, except already mentioned grand finals.

Best Bet

Vici Gaming were OGA Dota Pit China Season 3 champions and they are defending their title this time. It’s hard to say which team is the biggest favourite here as this tournament is one of the most stacked tournaments this year. Chinese region is so competitive it’s crazy. Best bet here would be PSG.LGD and Elephant. Those are my top picks. However, Aster is very close and can make it until the end for sure. My underdog pick would be Vici Gaming. All those teams can make their runs. Elephant are the recent China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 2 champions, while PSG.LGD won CDA-FDC Professional Championship Season 2 one week ago.

I can definitely see someone from those mighty four take the Season 4 championship. I don’t see the other 4 teams come close to it. My best bet and favourite pick would definitely be PSG.LGD as they are really coming back to impressive performances lately with their new lineup. They are my top favourites, and Elephant just behind them. Aster on 3rd place and Vici on 4th place of the best bets and Dota Pit tournament favourites.
