Vitality expand to six-man roster with the acquisition of Nivera.
Vitality have announced that they are expanding to a six-man roster with the signing of 19-year old Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom.
In the press release, Vitality insisted that Nivera will be an active member of the roster and that they have the intention of rotating players.
“Having a six-man roster will play an integral part as we commit to providing the best strategic environment for our players to perform at their best” said Fabien “Neo” Devide, President and Co-Founder of Vitality.
The Belgian player has spent his professional career playing for Heretics, where he has posted an overall rating of 1.12. In contrast to his older brother, Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom, Nivera has shown that he more than capable with both the AWP and rifles. This level of versatility may have been what convinced Vitality to go after his signature, since this will give them a lot of flexibility moving forward.
Due to the DreamHack Open roster lock, Nivera’s debut will have to wait until BLAST Premier Fall Series, where Vitality are in a group with FaZe, Complexity and BIG.
With the acquisition of Nivera, Vitality’s roster now looks as follows:
