LoL (LPL) Daily Betting Tips - January 27th

With two clear favourites in action on Wednesday in the LPL, it might not make sense to back them for the outright win. As a result, we break down some prop bets for you to consider on Picklebet.

Estar Gaming v FunPlus Phoenix

Map handicap: FunPlus Phoenix -1.5 (1.48)

Even though Estar have won two of four matches to begin this spring split, they might not be able to compete against this deep FunPlus Phoenix roster. FunPlus have started with three wins in four matches. They have been much more consistent over a longer period, a good indicator of experience in a team. This matchup is so skewed that FunPlus to win in straight maps is just 1.48, and it’s still good enough to back them to win without dropping a map

FunPlus Phoenix have one of the best mid-bot laner combinations in the LPL in Doinb and Lwx. While Doinb has been steady so far, Lwx has been absolutely stunning in the bottom lane. He is currently averaging 6.22 kills per game, second highest in the LPL after Top Esports’ JackeyLove. Tian has been another player in terrific form this split, putting up 3.86 kills per game. Nuguri, an acquisition from Korea’s LCK, is slowly getting into his work in the top lane, which bodes well for the team going forward.

Invictus Gaming v Rogue Warriors

Correct score (in maps): Invictus Gaming to win 2-1 (3.15)

Invictus Gaming have started this season a bit slowly. They have evenly split the four matches they have played. The odds are so heavily in favour of Invictus because Rogue Warriors haven’t made a good start either, losing three of the four series they have played to date. In terms of the skill of personnel, Invictus Gaming are definitely in better shape across the lanes. However, Rogue Warriors have enough experience in their own roster to stay abreast with Invictus in either of the first two maps. I’m backing Rogue Warriors to win just one map in this match. The payout for such an outcome is quite high too.

Rogue Warriors will continue to rely on Haro for offensive production. He has averaged 2.73 kills and 3.73 assists per game. His death rate is a bit high though, currently at 3.64. Forge and Ziv are the only two other players to have played all 11 maps for Rogue Warriors this season.
