Total maps: Over 2.5 (1.99)
Ago Rogue and Misfits both finished their respective round-robin stages of this tournament with identical records. Both teams had 4-2 records, but they will meet because Ago Rogue finished at the top of Group B while Misfits finished second in Group C. Even though the odds suggest that this will be a one-sided fixture in favour of Ago Rogue, I would disagree. Misfits are a proud franchise, and have plenty going for them despite losing their last two games in the regular season. In a best-of-three contest, it’s quite likely that both teams will take the nexus at least once.
Czekolad and Woolite were in incredible touch in the round robin. They combined for an incredible 12 kills per game over a period of seven matches. They will be the players that Misfits will have to keep quiet for long periods, especially before neutral objective spawns. For Misfits, it’s imperative that Jezu and Ronaldo step up. The reason is that they have been in good form right through this competition, averaging a combined 11.33 kills per game. Ronaldo has been their most productive player, keeping his death rate low as well to generate a KDA of 6.31.
Firstly, credit to K1ck. They have had a stellar campaign this year in the European Masters, surprising many. However, in this particular contest, Mousesports seem too strong. They are a fantastic esports franchise with deep resources and a strong League of Legends roster too. Mousesports were far too strong in Group D, winning five of six games to finish at the top. K1ck qualified for the knockouts by finishing second of Group A with a 4-2 record. Mousesports are coming off a three-game winning streak, which will hold them in good confidence for this game.
Jeskla and Lider have been one of the most powerful mid laner-bot laner combinations in this European Masters. Not only do they have a strong kill rate, they both have terrific KDAs, which is a good indicator of all-round prowess. Jeskla has an incredible kill participation rate of close to 15 as well.
