Flashpoint 2: forZe vs. BIG

BIG (1.36)

A spot in the playoffs will be up for grabs as forZe take on BIG in Flashpoint 2. The last time these two teams met was ESL Pro League back in June, when BIG absolutely annihiliated forZe 2-0. Outside of a recent upset against NaVi, forZe haven’t particularly impressed me. They may have an outside shot to make this interesting if they can win Inferno against BIG, but I trust the Germans to get it done here against forZe.

Flashpoint 2: EnVy vs. MIBR

Over 2.5 Maps (1.93) or EnVy +1.5 (1.41)

EnVy fell to forZe in the opener, and now have to face off against MIBR in the loser bracket. MIBR have taken big losses on maps like Inferno, Mirage and Train, so there are plenty of vulnerabilities in their map pool. However, I question how comfortable EnVy are on these maps with this new roster. They banned both Train and Inferno in their first match against forZe, and got smacked 16-10 on Mirage. If it wasn’t for that, I would like them a lot more here as the underdog. MIBR on the other hand have looked impressive on Nuke, Dust2 and Vertigo. The advantage that EnVy have is the element of the unknown. There is so little data out there for teams to scout, making it very difficult to prepare for them. I suspect that this will go the distance, but I don’t mind EnVy on the handicap either. If they approach the veto correctly, they could do some damage against MIBR.
