We take a look at some of today's action in IEM Global Challenge.
Liquid Map 1 (1.98) or Liquid +1.5 (1.37)
This will be the first time that these two teams ever face each other in official competition, so there is no history to by for this one. Personally, I think that Liquid have what it takes to deal some damage here against a Heroic side that has been in a bit of a slump to end the year. Overpass has always been a good map for Liquid, and this is a map that Heroic have lost on against lesser teams recently, such as against GODSENT and AGF. Nuke seems like the most probable map choice for Heroic, and while they should be the favourite on this map against Liquid, the North American side definitely has enough experience to pull off an upset, making the Map Handicap an option as well due to the lower juice.
1st Map - Total Rounds Over 25.5 (1.80)
Vitality are coming in as a significant favourite in this match against Complexity with a stand-in. Complexity were swept in their opening match against Astralis, and they now have to go up against an equally tough opponent in Vitality. However, I think Complexity are the type of team that won’t give in easily, and while I would expect them to lose the series, they can certainly put some rounds on the board. Sadly, there are no round handicap lines on offer on this one so we will have to settle for the Total Rounds exotic.
