Bwills joins Triumph as moose switches to Valorant.
Former Triumph player, Kaleb “moose” Jayne, has announced that he is retiring from CS:GO to pursue a career in Valorant. The Canadian helped Triumph achieve second-place at IEM-Beijing Haidan, a tournament in which they knocked out Team Liquid in the semi-finals. Replacing him will be Brendan ‘Bwills’ Williams, who has impressed playing for New England Whalers, posting a 1.14 rating in all competitions. The American was mentioned by Chaos’ star Xeppaa in a recent podcast by HLTV Confirmed as someone who could potentially break through into the top-flight, and he will now get his chance to prove his worth in Triumph.
“We’re excited to have Bwills join the team,” said Shawn Bischoff, Triumph’s General Manager. “It’s always a pleasure to bring on hungry new talent like Brendan and we believe that he will be an important piece in our team’s future. We are thankful for Moose’s time with our team. His experience and consistency have led us to many victories. We wish him the best of luck in his move to compete in VALORANT.”
Bwills is set to make his debut for Triumph at DreamHack Masters Winter starting November 30th, where they will face off against Rebirth in the opening match.
