The quality of players keep getting better as a Major progresses. We take a deeper look into which players should make your fantasy roster for the quarters of the Berlin Major.
Mathieu “Zywoo” Herbaut (21,040)
Zywoo is a killing beast. He has an average of 0.88 kills per round in his career, over nearly 500 maps (496). For such an aggressive player, he keeps his deaths per round considerably low too (0.62). That gives him a K/D ratio of 1.41, stunning returns by any standard. Apart from these numbers, he’s comparatively reasonable at his Skrilla price of 21,040.
Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev (22,000)
Spending 22,000 on one player might weaken the rest of your roster, but you’re spending on one of the best players in the game. S1mple has just been tremendous for Na Vi, with an excellent KDA ratio of 1.30 (0.85 kills, 0.66 deaths per round). He averages 318.21 Skrilla fantasy points per match over a sustained period of 84 matches. Na Vi is dependent on him. He should stand up when they need him against NRG.
Jere “Sergej” Salo (19,580)
Sergej has the best K/D ratio (1.22) in the third-best team in CS:GO. That’s saying something about the quality of the 17-year-old. He has only recently eked past 10,000 kills in his career, and nearly half of those have been headshots (48.7%). The mean price for a player in Skrilla fantasy is 20,000. Sergej is below that mean, with a stunning ROI of 314 fantasy points per match.
Justin “Jks” Savage (19,080)
Apart from Jks, there is only one other player on the current Renegades starting roster with a K/D ratio of over 1 (jkaem with 1.04). Jks has a K/D ratio of 1.14, built around stability. He averages 0.72 kills per round with 0.63 deaths a round. The Renegades game style is built around his offensive capability. They may struggle to compete in the quarters against a superior opposition in Ence, but expect Jks to give everything.
Ali “Jame” Djami (16,900)
Jame at this price is a steal. He should be the first player in your team, while building more effective players around him. The reason for this price might be Avangar’s impending defeat, but if they have a chance, it’s because of Jame. He has a K/D ratio of 1.30 in his career, with 0.72 kills and 0.56 deaths per round. No other player in Avangar even comes close to this efficiency.
Total cost for the above five players = 98,600
