Team Sinister v Kanga Esports

Team Sinister (1.33)

Team Sinister haven’t been the best or more consistent team in the Six Masters so far. They have been solid, which is evidenced from their 4-0-4 record to date. That means they’ve split their eight games evenly, resulting in their fifth position on the standings. They split both their games in the previous series against Okami, winning the first game 7-5 before losing the second 7-5.

The major reason for backing Sinister has nothing to do with them. That’s because Kanga Esports have not started their season yet. In eight games, they are yet to win one. The manner of their defeat is also concerning. Against Wildcard Gaming in the previous round, they lost their games 7-0 and 7-2. Kanga Esports will be bereft of any confidence or momentum, which will be a massive problem. I’d even back Team Sinister to win both games here.

Elevate v Pittsburgh Knights

Pittsburgh Knights (2.25)

There is an option to use the odds to your advantage here. Firstly, the Pittsburgh Knights aren’t nearly a bad team. They have a 4-4 record, which puts them fourth in the season. They have won 45 rounds and lost 39 so far. These aren’t under-par statistics either. One win will change the dynamics of the standings entirely.

Elevate are second in the standings with a 5-3 record. They’ve won one more round than Pittsburgh Knights but they have also lost one more. It’s hard to separate these two teams. My hunch is that both teams will win one game apiece. Which one though? That’s hard to predict. Considering the odds for Pittsburgh Knights are more than 2, you can back Pittsburgh Knights in both games. If they win one, you make a decent profit. If they win both, you make a massive profit. This is also a risky proposition because Elevate could win both, but it’s definitely the smarter move.
