Australia’s premier Rainbow Six event, the Six Masters, resumes on Tuesday with a couple of interesting matchups, including struggling Kanga Esports. Looking for form analysis and predictions? We’ve got you covered.
Lfo haven’t been the best team in the Six Masters. They have won four of 10 matches. In that period, they have won 47 rounds and lost 61. Not too bad, not too good. Still, they are in the penultimate position in the Six Masters (seventh). They were actually placed quite decently prior to their last round of fixtures. They lost both their games against second-placed Sinister in that series (7-3, 7-2).
However, there is one team that has been much worse than Lfo this season. Kanga Esports have lost all 12 games they have played this season. They’ve got gradually better as this season has progressed but they just haven’t quite been able to get over the hurdle of winning. Against Ferox last week, Kanga Esports lost 8-7 and 7-4. That would have damaged their confidence and spirit. I’m expecting Lfo to win at least one of these two games.
These odds are actually quite attractive considering the difference between these two teams. Okami have enjoyed quite a consistent season, having won seven of 10 series to date. That has pushed them to third on the Six Masters standings. They’ve also won 70 rounds this season, second highest in the Six Masters behind Sinister’s 78 rounds. Interestingly, they’ve lost 59 rounds, second fewest in the season, behind Wildcard Gaming’s 41. From an all-round perspective, there aren’t too many teams more solid than Okami in the Six Masters.
Elevate haven’t been too bad. They have won 5 of 12 series, which is steady. However, they are coming off a 7-5, 7-3 loss to leaders Wildcard Gaming in the previous round, which may have dented their momentum. Okami have a chance to leapfrog Sinister and move to second in the table on Tuesday. They should be able to achieve that against Elevate.
