The Six Masters season returns on Wednesday. Wildcard Gaming will look to regain their top spot when they face Elevate. Here are predictions and strategies for both Rainbow Six series on Wednesday.
Wildcard Gaming (1.35)
Wildcard Gaming have fallen to second place in the Six Masters standings. They were overtaken by Sinister but have two games in hand after Wildcard Gaming’s games last week didn’t take place.
Wildcard Gaming have been arguably the best team in the Six Masters this season. They have won 55 of 88 rounds so far, equating to 5 wins in every 8 rounds. In total, they have lost just one game out of seven. There is just far too much confidence and momentum in their game.
With the additional rest, they seem too hard to surpass even for a steady team in Elevate, who have evenly split their 10 games so far. Elevate don’t have the same level of offensive fluency in their game, especially considering they have a losing record in their rounds (they have won 54 and lost 55). I’d even back Wildcard Gaming to win both games in this series.
Kanga Esports (2.80)
This is a strategic decision in a bid to play the odds. Kanga Esports have been simply awful this season, having lost each of their 10 games so far this season. Team Ferox haven’t been too bad but they haven’t failed to win at least.
In their eight games to date, Ferox have won three. So yes, there is a divide in form and momentum. However, Kanga Esports have got gradually better as this season has progressed. They even challenged Sinister in their previous series but were beaten 8-7 in the first game. They certainly have the ability and will look at this fixture as an opportunity to open their account.
I don’t see Kanga Esports winning both games in this series but it’s entirely possible they win one. Backing Kanga Esports in both maps will achieve this objective. Considering the odds on Kanga are 2.80, all they need to win is one game to return a healthy profit.
