OG enters CS:GO with the signing of international roster spearheaded by former ENCE in-game leader, Aleksib.
OG has entered CS:GO with the long-awaited signing of Aleksib’s international roster. The Danish organization has its roots in DotA 2, and they are most known for winning the coveted tournament known as The International twice in 2018 and 2019.
DotA 2 has been the sole focus for the organization since its inception in 2015, but they now add a second esports title to their stable with the signing of a CS:GO roster.
The team is captained by former ENCE in-game leader Aleksib, who was surprisingly deemed surplus for requirements at ENCE despite achieving international success with the Finnish side. The young in-game leader has assembled a team consisting of well-established players such as NBK-, valde and ISSAA who have all competed at the highest level of professional Counter-Strike.
The least known name on the roster is the AWPer mantuu, who has vowed his trade playing in the German scene for teams such as ALTERNATE aTTaX and PANTHERS.
The team that will represent OG moving forward looks as follows:
According to Finnish news outlet Yle Esports, OG will be making their debut at cs_summit 5 on December 12. This has yet to be confirmed by OG and tournament organizer BeyondTheSummit, but more news should surface in the coming days.
