Suning Gaming v TT Gaming

Map handicap: TT Gaming +1.5 (2.18)

ThunderTalk have struggled right through this season. They are currently 14th on the table with a disappointing 2-7 season record. They have lost their last three matches too. However, they aren’t too far off from Suning, from a split form standpoint. Suning are undoubtedly more skilled and experienced than TT, but that doesn’t count for much in the pressure of a team fight in at least one map. This handicap means TT have to win a map, which is more than possible considering Suning are 4-5 for the season and have won just two more maps than ThunderTalk in spring to date.

SamD has been steady this season, averaging 3.5 kills per map, most for ThunderTalk this season. He has been killed a bit too often though, which has brought his KDA down to 2.32. He is leading TT in creep score (330). Twila is one of only two players in TT to have fewer than three deaths per game. That has helped him increase his KDA to 3.14, highest in his team.

Bilibili Gaming v Invictus Gaming

Invictus Gaming (1.29)

Rather surprisingly, Invictus Gaming has performed well under par so far. They have split the 10 matches they have played, which has put them at ninth in the LPL table. They have won 12 of 22 maps. Bilibili Gaming are currently 11th with a 4-5 split record. However, the skill difference between these two teams is far too much, at least on paper. Bilibili might be able to win a map, but it’s unlikely they can win two maps against a quality Invictus roster.

Wink and Rookie have guarded the explosive lanes well this season. Wink has a team-leading KDA of 5.45 (with 3.83 kills, 1.83 deaths and 6.17 assists per game). Rookie has close to three kills and over seven assists per game, taking his own KDA to 4.09. Despite their relative efficiency, they have to increase their kill participation a touch to increase their lane dominance. Xun has been terrific in that regard, with 4.64 kills and 5.91 assists per map.
