Oh My God v LNG Esports

Total maps: Over 2.5 (1.91)

Oh My God haven’t started this season very well. They have lost four of five series to date. In terms of maps, they have managed to win just 4 of 12 maps. However, they are much better than this poor early-season form suggests. Oh My God depend on a slower pace of play, which hasn’t quite worked so far. LNG Esports have split their four series to date. They have won 4 of 9 maps. The disparity between both these teams isn’t that much. I’d pick both teams to win a map, taking this game to three maps.

Personnel

Light has been in sensational form to start this summer season. He has averaged 4.33 kills and 5.66 assists per game, taking his kill participation rate to 10, providing LNG Esports with a reliable source of offensive production. Maple and Chenlun17 have provided able support to help LNG win two matches this split so far. For Oh My God, four players have been able to add more than 2 kills a game, which is an indicator they rely on all-round production rather than a single player, similar to Fnatic’s CS:GO team.

Bilibili Gaming v Top Esports

Map handicap: Top Esports -1.5 (1.34)

This is not a very hard decision. Let’s break down this matchup. Had this been a best-of-one match, Top Esports’ highly-favourable odds wouldn’t have changed much. They have been in tearaway form to start this summer season. Their players have formed a fantastic combination to take down the best of LPL. With due respect to Bilibili Gaming, they aren’t even in the top half of the LPL. Bilibili Gaming have won just 1 of 4 series, while Top Esports have won all four of their series. I’d take Top Esports to win without dropping a map.

Personnel

Top Esports have one of the best mid laner-ADC combinations in the LPL. Knight, Top’s mid laner, has led the entire LPL in kills per game (6.43 a map). ADC JackeyLove isn’t far behind with 5.8 kills a map. Both players have kill participation rates of well over 10 in this summer season so far.
