The group stages of the LPL continues on Thursday with another couple of games. We break down predictions from both games below.
Bilibili Gaming (2.14)
Bilibili Gaming haven’t started the season too well. They have lost two of their first three series. They were thrashed 2-0 by Vici Gaming to open the summer split. Also, Victory Five have two wins out of their first three series to show in this spring split. This start will feel even more relieving because of their spring split, in which they didn’t even win one series. So, the odds are understandable. However, Bilibili Gaming have a strong roster, with depth and experience. They won 7 of 16 series in spring to finish 10th in the campaign. The higher odds can be a strong League of Legends target for your bet slip.
Wings and FoFo have both added 2.71 kills per game over a period of seven maps to lead Bilibili Gaming this season. The team will need at least one of them to carry on and use their momentum against Victory Five. Wings is arguably their most proficient player this season so far, with a creep score per minute of over 10.
JD Gaming (1.40)
Royal Never Give Up are no pushovers. They are a quality team, with additional depth in their squad despite the off-season retirement of Uzi. However, JD Gaming comeg into this game on the back of a 2-0 drubbing at the hands of Top Esports that finished in under an hour. They will want to put that behind them and start again here. JD Gaming ended spring’s regular season with a 12-4 series record. They used that momentum to make a deep run into the playoffs as well. So, in terms of consistency, there is no problem for JD Gaming.
JD Gaming’s star bot laner Loken has been their most proficient offensive player, averaging 3.75 kills along with 5 assists in this season so far. He has received fantastic support from a fine cast that includes jungler Kanavi (2 kills), mid laner Yagao (3.25 kills) and top laner Zoom (2.75 kills). If they can just meet their averages, they will be very hard to stop for any team in the rest of the summer split.
