Team WE v LGD Gaming

Team WE (1.60)

Team WE have not been anywhere close to as consistent as they would like in summer this season. They have won six of 10 matches, which is not bad at all, but this team has a lot more depth and quality than that record suggests. Currently, Team WE are seventh in the LPL after winning their last two matches. That momentum will hold them in good stead for this encounter considering LGD Gaming have a 0.500 record (6 wins, 6 losses) this season. LGD Gaming have evenly split the 28 maps they have played as well. Overall, you would think that Team WE have enough both offensively and defensively.

Personnel

Breathe has been the standout performer for Team WE this season. He has registered an average of 4.19 kills per game along with 5.5 assists. Elk, however, has been the most effective player across dimensions inside Summoner’s Rift. He has the team’s highest KDA (4.98) with a kill participation of over 10 built on 3.88 kills and 6.46 assists per map. He also has the highest creep score, which is currently at 296.

Bilibili Gaming v JD Gaming

JD Gaming (1.45)

From a statistical standpoint, JD Gaming have won just one more match than Bilibili Gaming but there is a much bigger personnel difference than their respective records indicate. JD Gaming are currently fifth on the LPL table with a 7-4 record. They have a 62% map win percentage after winning 16 of their first 26 maps in the summer split. Bilibili Gaming have not been too bad either but there are bigger factors at play here than just confidence and momentum. JD Gaming are a force in the lanes, and are so powerful that it might not be possible for Bilibili to stop them in two of three maps.

Personnel

Kanavi has been JD Gaming’s most proficient killing weapon, putting up 4.5 kills and 7.38 assists per game with a KDA of 4.07. Loken, patrolling the bottom lane, has the team’s highest KDA which is rather surprising given the position’s aggression. He has a KDA of 4.89 with a creep score of 289.
