Dominus Esports v Invictus Gaming

Map handicap: Invictus Gaming -1.5 (1.35)

Invictus Gaming haven’t quite had the split they would have wanted. They have won 4 of 6 matches in this summer season so far. They are currently positioned sixth in the LPL standings. They have won 9 of 15 maps as well. This is a fantastic opportunity to improve on the records in both categories against a struggling Dominus Esports team. Dominus are coming into this game on the back of a quality 2-0 win against Edward Gaming but they have outright struggled in this campaign so far. They have won just three maps out of a total 15. That will impact their confidence adversely.

Invictus Gaming have, and will continue to, depend on Puff for their offensive production. In this split so far, he has averaged 3.53 kills along with 4.07 assists per game. He has been well complemented by mid laner Rookie, who has a slightly better KDA on account of some solid defensive metrics. Ning has been steady in the jungle, racking up 2.73 kills per game, while TheShy has held down the top lane in typically fluent fashion.

Suning Gaming v LGD Gaming

Map handicap: Suning +1.5 (1.50)

Suning aren’t a bad team, not by any means. While it’s true that LGD Gaming have been in tearaway form to start the season, they’ve also slowed down a touch. Both these teams have won four matches so far, but Suning have lost two more as well, which is why they aren’t considered favourites. Suning have been quite a reliable team for a while now but they’ve also not performed to their standards this year, including the spring split. This is their chance to prove to the LPL they have what it takes.

Huanfeng has been Suning’s go-to offensive weapon this split. And he hasn’t disappointed. He has averaged 3.47 kills per game along with 4.41 assists. Three other players from Suning average over two kills a map in this split. These aren’t bad numbers at all. Interestingly, it is their support player SwordArt that has the best KDA in the team.
