Rare Atom v Team WE

Team WE (1.29)

Team WE have had a terrific spring split so far, winning five of six matches to date. They started with five straight wins before losing their previous match. This level of confidence and momentum is hard to muster in a competitive league like the LPL. Rare Atom have put together a solid team but don’t quite have the same depth as Team WE. They have won two of five matches in spring so far. On paper, the quality of players on Team WE’s side might be too much for Rare Atom.

Jiumeng has been the best player for Team WE this season, from a kill production standpoint. He has generated 5.36 kills with 4.86 assists at a KDA of 4.93. Beishang has the best KDA in Team WE (8) having racked up 3.71 kills and 6 assists with a low death rate of 1.21. Breathe has also done a tremendous job: 2.21 kills, 1.43 deaths and 6.93 assists at a KDA of 6.4. These three form the core of Team WE’s attacking line-up, which will continue to be the case against Rare Atom as well.

Victory Five v Edward Gaming

Correct score (in maps): Edward Gaming to win 2-1 (3.10)

Firstly, it’s important to not under-estimate Victory Five, who are a much-improved team after a poor spring split in 2020. They are 3-3 for the season but have also lost their last two matches after a strong start. Edward Gaming, who are currently unbeaten with a 5-0 start to spring, are undeniably the better team in this match. They should have enough firepower in the lanes to win two maps but their aggressive template might be a bit too much in one of the maps, which will give Victory Five an opportunity to put some lane pressure. Victory Five will win one map, but Edward Gaming should win the third.

Mole and Weiwei have been the most consistent players for V5 this season, producing 3.5 and 3.38 kills per game respectively. Although V5 have already used eight players, they have reliable areas of offense, which will come in handy in this game.
