The LPL and the LCK continue on Thursday with four combined games. We make some predictions to consider for your bet slip from two of those games.
Sandbox Gaming (1.32)
Sandbox Gaming started this season with five straight match defeats. They’ve bounced back admirably now with three successive wins to move themselves out of the bottom two in the LCK standings. That will provide them with immense confidence going into this matchup. SeolHaeOne Prince is on the opposite end of the form spectrum, having lost seven of eight matches (on a seven-match losing streak) in the LCK’s summer split so far. They are now in the penultimate position on the LCK standings. I’d expect Sandbox Gaming to win eventually, maybe even in three maps.
Three players – OnFleek, Route and Summit – average between 2.1 and 2.2 kills per game. They’ve also been the only three players to have played all 18 maps in the summer season so far. Sandbox will continue to rely on this trio for stability in the jungle or in the lanes, particularly in fight engagements prior to objective spawns (baron or dragons). Against a stumbling SeolHaeOne Prince team, their respective returns could plausibly improve by the end of the game.
Royal Never Give Up (1.91)
Suning have made a fantastic start to this season. They are currently on a five-match winning streak that has carried them to 7-3 for the season and up to fifth in the LPL standings. Royal Never Give Up have gone the other way. They started the season in dynamic and explosive form but have since lost some of that fluency and momentum as this season has progressed. However, when it comes down to predicting tight fixtures, it’s never a bad idea to just look at the skill and depth of a team. In this case, RNG are slightly better off in that aspect.
Betty has maintained a solid kill rate right through this summer season. He has averaged 3.65 kills per map and has also kept a low death rate of 1.35. XLB and Xiaohu have also supplemented his offensive production well. Both players have a combined kill rate of close to six per map.
