Misfits Gaming v SK Gaming

Misfits (1.92)

Misifts haven’t quite fired this split. They began strongly against Fnatic but threw away a very bright start, by having a baron stolen by Fnatic. They are now 5-8 for the season with plenty of work still to be done to stay relevant in this summer season. SK Gaming have actually enjoyed quite a solid season to date but in terms of depth of personnel, I think Misifts are just slightly better off.

Kobbe will have to do the work again for Misfits. He has led the offensive production with 3.15 kills per game. Razork and Febiven have also helped with over 2 kills per game, but they will have to complete the neutral objectives proactively this time.

Vitality v G2 Esports

G2 (1.38)

G2 resurrected their season with quite a stunning turnaround victory against Rogue last weekend. They lost against Mad Lions and were looking set for a 0-2 week but that changed quickly. I suspect that will inspire G2 with a lot of confidence for this game. They are now 6-7 for the season and are only two wins away from moving 0.500 for the season. Vitality are no pushovers but this might be a hard task against a resurgent team.

Caps has led G2’s kill production with over 4 kills, mostly in the middle lane. Perkz has had a below par season, it’s about time he steps up to help G2 swiftly change the outlook of their summer split.

Fnatic v Rogue

Fnatic (1.75)

Another team that has somewhat underwhelmed this season. Fnatic haven’t quite hit their best yet this season. They are currently 7-6 for the season, and will be confident after a good win on Saturday. If they can finish the season strongly, they should enjoy a deep run into the playoffs. Rogue might be hurting after letting G2 off the hook in the previous game, a match they should have won comfortably.

Fnatic will look at their bottom laner Rekkles to return to his usual productive self. He has had just 3 kills per game, well below par for a player of his quality. He has been ably complemented by SelfMade too.
