The LEC resumes this Friday with several more games in a packed round. Here is a look at some predictions from Friday’s fixtures to consider on Picklebet.
G2 Esports (1.89)
G2 Esports have picked up some momentum as this season has progressed to the point they are now 9-6 for the season. They are coming into this game on the back of two wins in their last two games, which has pushed them up to fifth in the LEC table. Mad Lions have been in powerful form so far this split, with 10 wins in 15 matches. They are also on a three-match winning streak. All factors considered, this could come down to the difference in skill of personnel in this match. And G2 Esports have just been a bit more powerful over a longer duration of time in the LEC.
Rekkles has been in terrific form right through this split. He started with aplomb but his statistical returns have corrected a bit. Still, he has five kills per game along with 3.93 assists with a low death rate of just 1.07. This has given him a KDA of 8.38, comfortably the highest in his team. He also has a team-leading creep score of 322. Caps and Jankos have chipped in with over 7 kills combined, which has left G2 with sufficient offensive production in the lanes.
Fnatic have lost their spot at the top of the LEC table with two consecutive losses. Still, they have been exceptional this split with 10 wins in 15 matches, joint second on the LEC standings. They have more than made up for the departure of Rekkles with their own killing firepower. Misfits are locked with Fnatic on the LEC table with an identical season record. Between these two teams, Fnatic have been outstanding for several splits on the bounce while there is a sense that Misfits have overachieved so far this split.
Fnatic have been a fantastic all-round team. That is one of their strongest points when compared to other teams in the LEC. Upset has led the offensive production for the team with 5.4 kills per game. Nisqy has chipped in with 4.2 kills per map. Fnatic have also received solid support from Adam (3.8 kills a game) and Bwipo (3.73 kills). Their firepower in the lanes makes them the team to beat here.
