Team Vitality v Origen

Origen (1.40)

Origen are currently 6-5 for the season. That seems slightly below where they should ideally be considering the depth of their roster. Origen have proved repeatedly they have the skill and talent to beat the best. They’ve already done that this season already. They have been led by Upset, who has the best KDA in the LEC. He has 4.36 kills, 0.73 deaths and 4.91 assists, taking his KDA to a lofty 12.75. He even has a creep score of close to 10 per minute. He has been well supported by Alphari, Xerxe and Nukeduck as well. Against a Vitality team that has lost 7 of 11 maps so far in summer, I’d back Origen to take out the win.

G2 Esports v FC Schalke 04

G2 Esports (1.15)

There is a degree of certainty to this game. Not because G2 are one of the best teams in the LEC but also because they’ve fallen to 5-6 for the season. Not many would have expected G2’s nexus to be destroyed five times through the duration of the season. Even though the odds are rather low, G2 should still be part of your consideration for Friday’s LEC action. Caps has been decent for G2 in the middle lane but they’ll look at their AD Carry Perkz to put in a quality performance after an underwhelming start to the LEC in the first 11 games.

Fnatic v Mad Lions

Fnatic (2.27)

Mad Lions has enjoyed quite a solid season so far, beating almost every team they have come up against. In 11 games, Mad Lions has won 9, indicative of their prowess this season. Fnatic, meanwhile, has won just 6 of 11 maps in summer. Fnatic started the season well, with a well-timed baron steal that turned around that game against Misfits. They will be looking to change their current form with something similar against a strong Mad Lions team. For that, they will look at their star AD Carry Rekkles again. He has 3.09 kills and 6.09 assists per game this season.
