The LEC returns this weekend with an interesting round of fixtures, including a match between the top-placed teams in the league. Here is a look at some predictions from Friday’s round of games.
G2 Esports (1.25)
G2 Esports have woefully underperformed at this season’s LEC so far, at least by their lofty standards. That could change soon. They are currently fifth in the LEC with a 7-6 record. That is not up to their usual high expectations. SK Gaming have struggled through the season with just 4 wins in 13 matches. That has pushed them to eighth in the LEC table. Even though SK Gaming have won their last two matches, the gulf in skill between these two teams is stark enough to compel bettors to back G2 even with low odds of 1.25.
Rekkles has been in outstanding form right through, putting up 4.85 kills and just 1.15 deaths. That is almost paradoxical for a bot laner because of the territorial aggression that is required. He has a KDA of 7.13 and a creep score of 315, comfortably leading G2 in both metrics. Caps and Jankos have also chipped in, from an offensive standpoint, putting up 3.46 and 3.62 kills per map respectively. Mikyx has a kill participation of exactly 10, with 9.15 assists and 0.85 kills per map.
This is a top-of-the-table clash between two LEC powerhouses. Both teams have a 10-3 season record so far, with plenty of confidence and momentum to go with it. Fnatic have won their last five matches while Rogue have also emerged victorious in their last two games. Overall, there is not much to separate these two teams, which often means the best pick in your betting slip is the team with the higher odds. Fnatic also have a slightly more powerful offense, which will make a massive difference in team fights.
Fnatic have been one of the most consistent offensive teams in the LEC this season as is evidenced from their statistical returns. Their production is led by Upset, who has put up 5.77 kills and 6.69 assists with a low death rate of 1.15. His KDA of 10.8 is unmatched and unparalleled in the LEC this season among all teams. Nisqy and Adam have added 4.31 and 4.15 kills per map respectively while Bwipo has also chipped in with 3.77 kills at a KDA of over 4.
