Rogue v FC Schalke 04

Rogue (1.25)

Rogue have enjoyed a terrific summer split so far. Out of the nine games to date, they have won seven of them, upstaging even the might of some of the bigger challengers in Europe. The trick now is to maintain that level of proficiency going forward as well. Two of Rogue’s players, Larssen and Hans Sama, are ranked inside the top six in kills per game. This level of output might be hard to stop for FC Schalke 04, who have won just one of nine maps in this summer season so far. Rogue will be hard to stop in this one, and should cruise to the nexus, potentially inside 30 minutes.

Misfits Gaming v Fnatic

Fnatic (1.54)

Here’s an interesting stat: Fnatic have lost four of nine games, which means they have a losing record. This is extremely surprising for a team of Fnatic’s calibre. Misfits are no pushovers but I can see a determined Fnatic team being too hard to dislodge in this particular contest. Fnatic will rely on their star bot laner Rekkles for his production and quality. He has managed 3.11 kills with more than 4.5 assists, carrying his KDA over 8. He will need some assistance from SelfMade and Bwipo too in their respective lanes. This might be a tight contest but Fnatic have the experience of turning a game around, just like they did earlier in the season with a stolen baron when Misfits were on the verge of winning.

Mad Lions v Excel Esports

Excel Esports (3.15)

If you’re looking for a punt and favour an upset, this would be the game. This LEC has thrown a spanner in the works with almost every team beating each other. Mad Lions have stalled that by staying disciplined and winning seven of nine games to open summer. However, keeping in trend with the upsets abounding around the LEC, I’d back a decent Excel Esports to potentially pull off the win if they can start well. Excel have won four of nine games so far, including an upset against arguably the best team in the LEC in G2 Esports.
