FC Schalke 04 v Rogue

Rogue (1.45)

Even by Rogue’s usual lofty standards, this has been a terrific start to spring. They are currently leading the LEC with a 5-0 season record. Apart from their flawless record, they have been utterly dominant in team fights. This level of confidence and momentum along with a deep, skilled roster makes them a bit too much for Schalke 04, who have a 3-2 season record. Even though there is rhythm in Schalke’s game, having won their last two matches, Rogue will be too much.

Personnel

Rogue’s success has been built on stunning returns from Hans Sama and Larssen. Hans Sama has racked up a 6.2 kills and 6.6 assists with just 0.8 deaths at a KDA of 16. He also has a creep score of 323.4. Larssen isn’t far off: he has 4 kills and 6.6 assists with just 0.6 deaths at an even better KDA of 17.67. In comparison, Odoamne and Inspired look dull even though they have been excellent too.

Misfits Gaming v Excel Esports

Misfits Gaming (1.78)

Both these teams have identical season records so far (2-3). Misfits are coming off a loss while Excel won their previous match. That won’t be much of a factor in this game. The most influential reason for backing Misfits is the quality of their roster, which includes Kobbe and Razork. They were quite steady even in summer in 2020, which is indicative of their consistency.

Personnel

Even though Kobbe has the best KDA (3.7) in Misfits this season, he will be quite disappointed with his season, which includes just 2.8 kills. He would definitely want that kill participation to increase as this split progresses. Razork has been quite dynamic in the lanes, adding 4.8 kills and 5.4 assists with a KDA of 3. His death rate has been a bit high but his kill production has been crucial with Kobbe’s slow start.
