Sandbox Gaming v Gen.G Esports

Gen.G Esports (1.30)

Gen.G have been sensational this season in the LCK. In fact, they are leading the LCK with 9 wins in 11 matches. They have won 64% of their maps (18 of 28 maps in this split). They have also won their last two matches. In terms of form, confidence and momentum, Gen.G have a clear and apparent advantage. In terms of personnel, Gen.G again have the edge. Sandbox Gaming are currently fifth in the LCK with a 6-5 record, which puts them just behind T1 in the standings. Odds of 1.30 aren’t flattering but this is a highly likely Gen.G win.

Personnel

Ruler has been the wrecker-in-chief for Gen.G this season. He has generated 4.43 kills per map along with 4.68 assists. He is even leading the team in KDA (5.54) with a team-leading creep score of 339.32. Rascal has chipped in with a kill participation of close to 10 (3.57 kills, 5.57 assists per map). Clid and Bdd also have kill participation rates of close to 10, albeit with significantly fewer kills per map.

Afreeca Freecs v T1

T1 (1.38)

T1 have not found the consistency they would have wanted this season. They started off with five wins in their first 10 matches but have now put on some momentum with two straight victories to move them into the top half of the LCK table. They have also won 16 of 28 maps, which is not too bad at all. Afreeca Freecs are just behind them with a 6-5 record but there is a sense that they have overachieved so far. T1 have a much deeper, more aggressive roster that might have far too much strength in the team fights for a more passive team like Afreeca Freecs.

Personnel

Surprisingly, no player from T1 has averaged over four kills per map in this summer split. Canna has led the offensive production for the team, with 3.5 kills per map. With just 1.47 deaths, Teddy has been T1’s most efficient player, putting up 3.16 kills and 5.85 assists from an offensive standpoint to lift his KDA to 6.11. He also has a creep score of 300.
