Excel Esports v Misfits Gaming

Misfits Gaming (1.49)

Misfits have won eight matches so far, which puts them fourth in the LEC standings. They have been by far more consistent than Excel, which is one of the major reasons for backing them to stay stronger and come away with the win. After two straight losses, Misfits beat SK Gaming last weekend for a crucial, morale-boosting victory. In terms of recent form, Excel have lost three of their previous five games, which might cause some self-doubt.

SK Gaming v Fnatic

Fnatic (1.10)

Fnatic’s form will worry the rest of the LEC. They have been solid and consistent, two characteristics that are primarily absent in the LEC. Fnatic have won their last four games on the bounce, which puts them tied for the top spot with two other teams. Against SK, who have lost their last five straight games, this may be a task not too hard for a team that is in form.

Origen v G2 Esports

Origen (2.65)

In terms of form in the LEC, it could be hard to separate these two teams. Origen have won four of their last five games, while G2 have lost two of their last five matches in the same period. Both teams have won nine matches in total to join Fnatic at the top of the LEC table. It might be true that G2 have a more experienced roster in these conditions, but that still doesn’t mean Origen will be pushovers in this contest. The higher odds are compelling enough for a punt.

FC Schalke 04 v Mad Lions

Mad Lions (1.33)

Mad Lions have been impressive this season. They have won seven of 12 games this season, which bodes well for their confidence. They are coming off a loss to Excel Esports in their previous game, but they still have enough skill and momentum to come out refreshed against a team that has been struggling right from the outset. Schalke have lost their last four matches, and are lingering at ninth in the standings.
