Victory Five v OMG

Oh My God (1.14)

Victory Five’s massive struggles in this season’s League of Legends Pro League is one of the major reasons OMG are such heavy favourites. Victory Five haven’t won a series yet, which is a clear indicator that their roster lacks the depth and experience needed in best-of-three encounters. Of those six series, they have managed to win just one game in a total of 13, giving them a win percentage of 8%, positioning them at the bottom of the LPL Spring Split standings.

OMG are vying for the top four spots of the LPL. They are currently fifth with a 4-2 series record. They have won their last three matches too, which will hold them in good stead going forward. They have a 60% win record so far.

Top Esports v JD Gaming

JD Gaming (1.43)

From a standings perspective, it seems possible that if Top Esports play close to their best, they could topple the might of JD Gaming. Top Esports have split their 16 games to date (8-8 currently), but have a 4-3 winning series record which has put them eighth in the table. JD Gaming are third, with a 5-2 series and 12-5 games record.

Much of that stellar record so far in the Spring Split has been built on a strong roster, laden with aggressive players. Loken has been terrific, with a KDA of 8.05. Kanavi and Yagao have complemented Loken ably, putting on an average of 3.41 and 3.12 kills per game respectively.

Bilibili Gaming v FunPlus Phoenix

Correct score in maps: 2-0 to FunPlus Phoenix (1.34)

The returns for an outright win for FunPlus Phoenix (1.07) are far too low. Backing them to win without the need for a third map provides a better risk-reward ratio. FunPlus Phoenix started the Spring Split with two straight losses but have now won five series on the bounce to move to third on the table.

A team’s Mid laner and ADC are expected to lead the charge from an offensive standpoint. One of the major reasons for FunPlus’ recent success has been the prowess of Doinb (Mid) and Lwx (ADC). They both have a KDA ratio of over 5.50, built on a terrific kill rate. Doinb is averaging 5.47 kills and Lwx has 4.53 kills per game. It’s hard to see Bilibili keeping these two at bay.
