Mad Lions v Origen

Mad Lions (2.38)

Mad Lions have made a sensational entry into the LEC. They have won four of their first six matches in their LEC history, beating Rogue and Vitality as well during this short campaign. Origen are a stronger, deeper roster, which is why they’re favourites in this contest, but their superiority in this match-up may be just a tad exaggerated. Origen have lost two of their last three games as well, an indicator they might not have found their fluency as yet.

Team Vitality v Fnatic

Fnatic (1.14)

Team Vitality are just struggling and stumbling their way across LoL games. They have lost their last 11 games, dating back to late last year. They haven’t won a game yet in this LEC split. Fnatic, on the other hand, are on the opposite end of the form spectrum. They have won four of their previous five games in the LEC, their only slip coming last weekend against G2. They will be keen to erase that game and return to winning ways with a commanding performance against one of the worst LEC teams.

FC Schalke 04 v Rogue

Rogue (1.31)

FC Schalke have been struggling for form for a while now. They have lost their last eight matches, stretching back to last year, which also means they are yet to win a game in this split. Rogue have been middling, with three wins in six matches so far. They will undoubtedly sense an opportunity to improve that record against one of the worst in the LEC. Considering the odds of 1.31, there is an opportunity to add Fnatic as a double in your bet slip.

Excel Esports v SK Gaming

SK Gaming (2.21)

Excel Esports have lost three games this season, while SK Gaming have lost four. In the head-to-head matchup, both these teams have split the four games they’ve played against each other. Both teams won their previous game (Excel beat Vitality and SK Gaming beat Schalke). All these factors considered, it’s hard to pick a winner on paper. In such situations, it’s always the more prudent option to back the team with the higher payout, particularly when it’s a best-of-one encounter.
