The main event of the EU Masters kicks off on Wednesday with six fixtures. We take a look at some predictions to consider for your bet slip.
Fnatic Rising (1.14)
Fnatic Rising were a force in the spring edition of the UKLC earlier this year. In 21 games, they finished with a 15-6 record including the playoffs. They will depend on the class of their mid laner-ADC combination of MagiFelix and xMatty. Together, they combined for well over 10 kills a game during that tournament. Dan also put up 3.17 kills per game. There isn’t any concern with the depth of their roster.
Schalke 04 Evolution (1.34)
Schalke04 are coming into this EU Masters on the back of a strong showing in the Prime League Pro Division in Germany earlier in the year. They played 24 games during the tournament, accumulating 19 wins with five losses. Sertuss was their undoubted leader from an offensive perspective, putting up 4.83 kills and 1.58 deaths per game. NukesALot and Sleeping will also have to stand up in a tricky opening game against Movistar Riders.
K1ck Neosurf (1.42)
K1ck Neosurf were forced to qualify for the main event of the EU Masters, which meant they came through the play-in stage relatively unscathed. That will leave them in a buoyant mood as they face Singularity. They have won 22 of 31 games this year, including the play-in stage. PukiStyle has shown terrific form as ADC (5.23 kills and 1.97 deaths) for his team, while Shlatan has proved to be a reliable jungler so far. iBo has protected the top lane admirably as is evident from his K/D of more than 1.
Vodafone Giants (1.39)
Vodafone Giants had a stunning win percentage in the LVP SLO spring season, winning 21 of 26 games including the playoffs. They will take plenty of confidence into this encounter in the main event of the EU Masters. Impressively, they have needed just the five players in their roster right through the year. Offensively, they have been well led by Attila, who has a KDA of 12.27 after aggregating 5 kills and just 0.88 deaths in that competition.
