There is plenty at stake as the LPL’s regular season of the spring split draws to a close this weekend. We dig deeper into the impact that might have on some teams along with our predictions from Saturday’s games.
Map handicap: Vici Gaming -1.5 (1.42)
In 15 matches, Vici Gaming have managed to win just six of them, giving them an underwhelming 6-9 series and 19-22 games record. That has pushed them to 12th in the LPL. However, they have a terrific opportunity to improve upon that when they face bottom-placed Victory Five, who are yet to win a match. They have won just 1 of 31 maps so far.
iBoy has been Vici Gaming’s standout performer this season. He has averaged 3.05 kills, 2 deaths and 5 assists, with a KDA of 4.02 and a creep score per minute of 9.11. He should have a field day out against Victory Five.
FunPlus Phoenix (1.14)
These odds might not be high enough for a single but they are certainly strong enough to add in a multi-bet accumulator. You could even bundle FunPlus Phoenix with Vici Gaming. FunPlus Phoenix have been one of the most consistent teams in the LPL with an 11-3 series record. That has pushed them up to second in the LPL table. They should not face too many problems from 11th-placed Rogue Warriors.
FunPlus Phoenix have a strong Mid laner and ADC, carrying out the majority of the killing for them. Both Doinb and Lwx average 4.46 kills per game. Both players have a similar KDA and CSPM as well. Tian has chipped in with 2.66 kills and 8.03 assists as well.
Royal Never Give Up (1.37)
Royal Never Give Up will be looking for one last push as the playoffs nears. They are currently seventh in the table with an 8-7 record. But they aren’t too far from moving quickly up if they can finish strongly. Suning Gaming don’t have too much left to play for, which could make a difference eventually.
With a KDA of 5.63, Betty has been the best player for Royal Never Give Up. He has even led their kills per game with 4.06. With 3.46 kills, Xiaohu has provided strong support too.
