The North American-based team, Extra Salt, has announced that Ricky “floppy” Kemery will join the team following Aran “Sonic” Groesbeek’s decision to take a break from competitive play.

The move marks floppy’s return to the team, where he made a name for himself internationally under the banner of ATK and Cloud9 alongside the likes of oSee and Sonic.

The 21-year-old rifler has been without a team since March after Cloud9 put their CS:GO operation on hold, but he recently picked up the game again and has been standing in for Extra Salt at the August ESEA Cash Cup.

The team will soon make their way over to Europe for the ESL Pro League Conference Season 15, where Extra Salt will join the likes of Renegades, GODSENT and Endpoint among others who have qualified through DreamHack events and ESL’s regional championships.

With the addition of floppy, Extra Salt will now field the following roster:

  • 🇺🇸 Josh “oSee” Ohm
  • 🇨🇦 Justin “FaNg” Coakley
  • 🇲🇽 Edgar “MarKE” Maldonado
  • 🇺🇸 Ricky “floppy” Kemery
  • 🇿🇦 Johnny “JT” Theodosiou
  • Singles
  • Multi
