Dota 2 never disappoints. From BTS Pro Series to smaller tournaments like Epic Prime League and others, Dota 2 is here to entertain us every day. Let’s analyze the most interesting matches of the day.
TNC Predator @ 1.65
TNC Predator and Team Adroit are currently similar in terms of the results, especially in the BTS Pro Series SEA region. Both teams are sharing 2nd place in the standings with 4 wins and 2 losses. Interestingly enough, both teams have almost identical results vs their opponents, as both teams lost 1-2 vs Fnatic and 0-2 vs BOOM. The difference is that TNC has 1 map advantage in rankings, as they have lost 1 map less than Team Adroit. This means this match could potentially go into the 3 maps, which will be really interesting to see. From their last 3 clashes in the last 4 months, Adroit won 2 times, and TNC Predator 1 time. This time, I expect us to see a very close series between those two teams. I’m giving a slight advantage to TNC Predator.
Geek Fam +1.5 @ 1.52
BOOM looked very dominant vs Adroit and TNC, winning both matches 2-0. Impressive enough, since in the other matches vs weaker teams they didn’t show anything special. They are holding 5th place currently in the group with 3 wins and 3 losses. 2 out of 3 wins they’ve got against top 3 teams, which is really impressive. On the other side, Geek Fam does have a really solid lineup on the paper, consisting of some of the ex TNC players. But currently they are struggling to get into the upper half of the standings, and with only 2 wins out of 6 matches that they’ve played they are not looking so good. It is very strange that Geek Fam lost dominantly vs two teams that BOOM won, TNC and Adroit. But on the other side, they’ve managed to take maps off Fnatic and Reality Rift, and that’s something that BOOM didn’t manage to do. Really hard match to bet on, as there are no rules here who can beat who, as we can see. However, I do think Geek Fam can pull out a map off BOOM, and odds are satisfying.
VP.Prodigy @ 1.15
VP.Prodigy is really a nice surprise in the CIS / EU Dota 2 scene. The oung academy team of Virtus.Pro are really looking to shake up tier 3 European Dota 2. In the last 10 days they have won 2 online tournaments - Gaming World and StayHome Challenge. Today this is their chance to take the 3rd one, and I do think they will do it easily. In this best of 3 series they need to beat another academy squad of Team Empire. Team Empire Hope is led by fairly unknown players from the CIS region, while VP.Prodigy has some of the big names in their lineup, like fn or DM, ex Vega Squadron players. Prodigy is just dominating and their last matches look like a one way street. They have demolished Cyber Traktor on Tuesday in WePlay! Pushka League, while a few days ago they demolished up and coming European team Vikin.gg 3-1, a team who participated in ESL One LA Online tournament and finished 3rd in the end. This match could end up only with Prodigy victory, if you ask me. Possible 2-0.
