One series from Pinnacle Cup will be the CIS match of the day between EXTREMUM and Spirit while Tundra and Alliance are finishing up the day with their second clash of the year.
Into the Breach @ 1.57
Into the Breach are slight favourites here, even though in their only series against No Bounty Hunter this year they’ve lost. That match was in early January tho. No Bounty Hunter are one of 3 weakest teams in this division for sure, and they will be fighting here to stay out of the last 2 spots that lead to being eliminated from playoffs. Odds on ITB are pretty decent here for a ML bet and I think they have much higher quality players compared to No Bounty Hunter. Two weeks ago they won against Chicken Fighters which is a good sign too.
EXTREMUM +1.5 @ 2.89
This is a real value bet. Team Spirit is dropping maps lately to teams like Level Up and Winstrike and they lost a series to Hellbear Smashers. Their grounds started to shake a bit and I don’t like that at all. I don’t think Spirit’s -1.5 handicap doesn’t have any real value here as EXTREMUM showed some glimpse of hope in their series wins against Unique and Brame. They showed that with a good draft and little luck they can take on a slightly stronger team. Spirit is on another level, that’s true, but I believe there is a slight chance that Spirit can drop a map here and it’s worth going down that road. Spirit is not dominant and unbeatable like they used to be a few weeks ago.
Brame @ 1.63
Hellbear Smashers are just not performing in this season of the EU upper division. They are holding the last place in the division with 5 straight losses. They’ve won only 3 maps out of 13 in total. Yes, they took maps against teams like OG and Secret, but overall, they are not looking firm right now. On the other side, Brame is kicking ass lately. In their last series vs HellRaisers in the Pinnacle Cup they showed how to beat an aggressive CIS squad. They are favourites here and odds on ML here are quite good. Money on Brame.
Alliance @ 1.40
This is surely the match of the day. These two teams faced each other way back in February when Alliance took the series 2-1. Alliance is performing in an impressive fashion, beating OG, Liquid, Secret and Nigma. All amazing wins and I don’t see a reason why we would even look at betting on Tundra here. Alliance is obviously another level and surely they want to cement their 1st position on the table. Yes, Tundra beat OG with 2-1, but I don’t think they can play that style vs Alliance and their aggressive style and NikoBaby. Odds on Alliance are quite decent if we take into consideration the 1st placed team is playing 7th placed team.
