West Europe and China are the two last ones. Today we are following Western European qualifiers, which are one of the most interesting ones. Here are my picks and predictions for upper bracket round 1 matches.

TI10 Western Europe Qualifier: Team Nigma vs Hellbear Smashers

Team Nigma -1.5 @ 1.50

First series of the WEU qualifiers. Team Nigma are coming into this series as complete favourites for the next round. Their last series in May, Nigma won 2-0 convincingly. Nigma is not in their top form and peak, but this should be enough to take down Hellbear Smashers. They are better than their opponent on all fields. Good bet on handicap -1.5 here.

TI10 Western Europe Qualifier: Vikin.gg vs OG

OG @ 1.41

I wonder why we see here such pumped odds on OG. OG are one of the favourites to win these qualifiers for sure. Yes, they had a bad year or so, they were changing their lineup constantly, and Sumail still didn’t fit in the lineup perfectly. But in the end, it’s OG, the team you can never count down. They are owning all other teams on all positions, especially Vikin.gg. Safe bet here would be OG ML, where you can pick a higher unit bet. Should be good.

TI10 Western Europe Qualifier: Tundra vs Brame

Tundra @ 1.30

Tundra faced Brame 3 times this year. They took the win 2 out of 3 times, pretty dominantly. Overall, they are a better team, but in recent months Brame has been surprising teams here and there. Tundra was playing ESL One Summer in June, while Brame didn’t play an official match since late May. In this one, Tundra is again absolute favourite, and odds on Tundra ML are so low, maybe because of their recent solid performance at ESL One Summer (2-0 vs Liquid, 1-2 vs Quincy Crew).

TI10 Western Europe Qualifier: Spider Pigz vs Team Liquid

Team Liquid -1.5 @ 1.42

This must be a one way street for Liquid. They don’t have room for error here. A win is highly expected from them and everything else will be a big blow for them. From some people, they are put in the inner circle of favourites here, even if I don’t agree with that fully. Liquid are good, not near their peak form and performance, but vs solid Nigma and never surprising OG, I don’t think they have a chance. Lucky for them that they’ve got one of the easiest opponents in round 1 of the upper bracket. They can take them down 2-0, or at least they should.
