Dota 2 - Alliance roster update

Alliance is among the first professional Dota 2 teams to make drastic changes to their roster. Decision to change and remove 3 players from their roster was surely not an easy decision to be made.

Alliance players Artem “Fng” Barshak, Linus “Limmp” Blomdin and Gustav “s4” Magnusson are no longer members of the Dota 2 Alliance. Representatives of the Swedish esports team reported this on the official website.

Management thanked Fng, Limmp and s4 for their work and contribution. The organization’s leadership did not specify who will replace those 3 players yet.

Fng joined the Alliance in September 2020, and Limmp has played for the Swedish team since October 2019. With them, the team took the tenth place in the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 rating and received an invite to The International 10 (2021). At the main tournament of the year, the team took 9-12th place - in the playoffs, they were able to beat only beastcoast.

In 2013, s4 in the Alliance became the champion of The International. A year after the victory, the player left the club and returned to the roster on April 1, 2020 - then many thought that this was an April Fool’s joke. During TI10, Magnusson became the world’s second esports player to gather 1400 pro wins under his belt.

Alliance are currently:

Nikolay “Nikobaby” Nikolov Simon “Handsken” Haag
