The former Astralis member joins NiP on a permanent transfer
NiP have confirmed the signing of the former Astralis veteran, Nicolai “device” Reedtz. The move comes just days after it was leaked that Astralis had been practicing without the veteran AWPer in scrims. While changes in Astralis were on the horizon, few would have predicted that the device would leave the team in favour of NiP. In a recent statement by device, the Dane explained why he chose to leave the accomplished organisation.
“I’ve lived in Sweden for some time now, speaking the language, and I’m really hyped about this young and exciting NIP project. To join one of the most successful organizations, where so many legends have played, inspires me. Just see what LeBron James achieved with the Lakers for instance, and with the Major in Stockholm coming up, bringing that home to Sweden is my number one goal.”
The move will be an enormous boost for NiP, who have shown moments of brilliance but have lacked consistency at the highest level.
