We break down the grand final of DreamHack Masters Winter North America between Chaos and TeamOne.
Chaos (1.41) or Chaos -1.5 (1.93)
Chaos are coming in as a favourite against the Brazilian of TeamOne in this grand final of DreamHack Masters Winter. These two teams have faced off five times this year, with Chaos coming out on top in four of those. It is worth noting that this will be a BO5, so both teams’ map pools will be truly tested in this one. It is hard to see TeamOne winning this series over the course of five maps, especially when you consider their recent history. They may have a decent chance on a map like Dust2, but Chaos have the edge on the remainder of the maps. You could also argue that TeamOne had an smoother road to the final with the easier of the two groups, and they were given a bit of a gift with Triumph dropping the ball in Group A. This gave them a semi-final matchup against Rebirth – a team that they have historically dominated. I would expect Chaos to take the win here, and they will have a good shot at doing so without dropping more than one map.
