The Blast Premier Fall Final 2021 is back on Wednesday with a packed schedule of four matches, all BO3 LAN games. Here is a look at two predictions from Wednesday’s schedule.
Team Vitality (1.39)
Vitality have been one of the most consistent teams in the professional circuit for a while now, which has moved them up to No. 5 in the world. This is a team that has maintained their level of performance despite being in a sport where there is unparalleled displacement of teams with roster changes. Of the eight maps they have played against each other, Vitality have won five, leaving them with the head-to-head advantage. They have also won three of their last four matches, with the only loss in that period a straight-maps defeat to Natus Vincere.
Zywoo has been one of the best CS:GO players in the world for a while now. In the last three months of CS:GO action, he has registered 0.82 kills and just 0.59 deaths per round, increasing his K/D ratio comfortably over his peers. Shox has provided decent offensive production for Vitality, with 0.67 kills per round in this period. Apex and Misutaaa will be tasked with staying strong in the early game.
Astralis’ core has disintegrated. Still, they have managed to stay relevant in the CS:GO scene, albeit after a move from No. 1 in the world to No. 20 in the CS:GO rankings presently. One of the biggest cogs of the Astralis wheel has now moved to NiP, with Device creating instant impact. However, Astralis, now with BlameF, won’t be easy to beat. NiP cruised to a 16-1 win in Inferno in the previous meeting between these two teams earlier this year but that won’t be repeated here at the Blast.
BlameF has been in decent form since his acquisition, putting up 0.67 kills per round. But Astralis will need him to do a lot more than just staying solid. K0nfig will be the other person that Astralis will be relying on for some offensive spirit against this NiP team.
