We break down three of today's matches in ESL One: Road to Rio and Elisa Invitational.
North are coming off a crushing loss to Copenhagen Flames, and they are now set to face off against a Heroic side that has had plenty of time to prepare for this BO1 matchup. All of the group stage matches are BO1, so an upset could definitely be on the cards.
Over 2.5 Maps (1.86)
This will be a battle of great individuals as mousesports are set to take on FaZe. This has been a very competitive matchup in recent times, with the last two meetings going to a decider, so the over seems appealing in this spot. Interestinglty, the map veto has played out the exact same way in the last two meetings, with mousesports opting for Train and FaZe opting for Nuke.
Dignitas +1.5 (1.41)
Since ESL: Road to Rio is a Valve sanctioned event, Jamppi will be ineligible to play, which means that ENCE will be forced to play with xseveN in this match. The map veto sets up quite well for Dignitas here, with Nuke and Train being likely maps. ENCE are currently on a six-game losing streak on Nuke, and while Train isn’t the best map for Dignitas, it is certainly not their worst either. In fact, they took fnatic to overtime on Train in their most recent outing, a team far stronger than ENCE.
