BLAST Premier: FaZe vs. Vitality

Over 2.5 Maps (1.86)

FaZe will take on Vitality in a match to decide who moves on to face Complexity in the grand final. Vitality have looked very impressive in these last few matches, with shox rolling back the years and delivering several good performances. However, FaZe have defeated Vitality in their last two meetings, and they have a better overall record as well with three wins and one loss. While FaZe have been the better team in this matchup historically, it should not be ignored that Vitality have an edge in the map veto, and it will be interesting to see if they choose to exploit FaZe’s weakness on Overpass. Since Vitality are quite proficient on Vertigo, FaZe will likely have no choice but to ban it, and Vitality will have the option of picking Overpass if they want to. Interestingly, they did not choose to do so in either of their meetings this year, instead opting for Nuke which played into the hands of FaZe. If Vitality pick Overpass, I give them the edge in this one, but it is a very hard match to call overall.

BLAST Premier: Evil Geniuses vs. MIBR

Over 2.5 Maps (1.86) or Over 26.5 Rounds Map 1 (1.86)

Evil Geniuses managed to get rid of FURIA in a three map series, and they will now take on MIBR in the final. These two teams have faced off three times this year, with all three of these matches going to a decider. These games have typically been quite close, as well, with the round spread hitting over 26.5 rounds in all but two maps. Both over 2.5 maps and over 26.5 rounds on the first map are decent plays in my opinion.
