Faze Clan v Big

Big (2.41)

Despite being ranked no. 27 in the world, Big are no pushovers. They are a strong, confident team in almost any map. In the last three months, four of their players – Xantares, Smooya, Tabsen and Nex – have a positive K/D ratio. The other player, Tizian, averages 0.62 kills and 0.63 deaths per round. That’s how efficient this team has been together.

Their map match-up is also extremely favourable. They’ve won all six attempts in Mirage, two of three in Inferno and Train, and a 56% win rate over nine maps in Dust2. That’s way higher than Faze in all maps. In the head-to-head, Big and Faze have split the six maps they’ve played against each other.

Mousesports v Optic Gaming

Correct score (in maps): Mousesports 2-0 (1.55)

You would think that the difference in quality between these two teams is too much for Optic, even to win a map. Mousesports have been in tearaway form in the last few months, which has seen them rise to No. 7 in the world.

They hold the advantage in most map match-ups, including Dust2 (80% win rate in their last 15 maps), Mirage (62% win rate in their last 16 maps), Inferno (69% in their last 13 maps) and Nuke (60% in their last five maps). Mousesports also cruised past Optic 2-0 in their last meeting, at the DreamHack Masters in Malmo last week.

Grayhound Gaming v Catman

Grayhound Gaming (1.09)

Catman are a relatively unknown team, which is why they’re ranked No. 106 in the world. In stark contrast, Grayhound are a well-known unit in CS:GO circles, with a world ranking of 18. Their stock would have risen immeasurably after they took down Team Liquid in straight maps at the DreamHack Masters in Malmo last week, which also dethroned Liquid as the top-ranked CS:GO team in the world. The player of that match, Malta, has also been rising in popularity, along with Dexter and Ins.

Featured Bet of the Day (Avant v Ground Zero)

Featured Match
Ground Zero (2.42)VSAvant Gaming (1.52)

Ground Zero (2.42)

This Antipodean match-up sees two teams on the rise face each other for the first time in a competition not limited by Oceania, in terms of geography. Although Avant have won four of five maps against Ground Zero, the scores have been rather close (16-12, 14-16, 16-13, 16-13 in favour of Avant). Apart from 57 world ranking spots, there isn’t much that separates these two teams, which means you could take the bigger payout on Ground Zero.
